Twitter user ShrimpApplePro, known for previous Apple leaks, has once again brought attention to this leak. According to this user, the new smartwatch will come in 41 mm and 45 mm case sizes, just like the Apple Watch Series 8.
Based on the leaks, Apple doesn’t seem to be making any significant design changes in the new smartwatch. The Watch 9 model is expected to have the same body as the Apple Watch 8, which might disappoint some Apple Watch users.
Apple does not plan to introduce a new generation of its budget-friendly smartwatch model, the Watch SE, within this year.
On the other hand, the Apple Watch 9 model has a surprise in store. The new generation smartwatch will have a pink color option. Given the recent Barbie craze, it seems likely that Apple has taken a step in this direction. However, the company hasn’t made any official statement regarding whether the new color option is related to Barbie.
