The Baseus X1 Pro Dual-Tracking Solar Security Camera has moved beyond crowdfunding and is now available for general purchase in the U.S. While Kickstarter backers are still waiting on shipments, a limited number of retail units have landed early, giving some customers a chance to get their hands on the device ahead of schedule.
X1 Pro now available on Amazon US
Initially introduced via Kickstarter in early 2025, the X1 Pro was pitched as a powerful, subscription-free outdoor camera with solar charging and dual 3K lenses. The campaign ended on December 15, with delivery estimates pointing to January 2026.
Now, however, the product is available to purchase at Amazon US for $279.99. Amazon’s listing shows limited stock, with fewer than 10 units left at the time of writing. Deliveries are expected to start by late December 2025, meaning retail buyers could receive their units before some backers.

Dual tracking, solar power, and 3K resolution
The X1 Pro stands out for its independently moving dual-camera setup. Each lens supports 3K resolution, with a combined 300° horizontal panning range and 8x digital zoom. The system enables dual-target tracking, allowing it to follow two moving objects at once useful for wider coverage and home security flexibility.
Above the lenses sits a 3W solar panel, which the company claims can provide a full 24 hours of operation from just 20 minutes of sunlight. There’s also a backup battery designed to last up to 150 days on a full charge, depending on usage.

Kickstarter backers still waiting
While retail customers may get early access, Kickstarter backers have yet to receive their units. The last update from Baseus confirmed that an address survey would be sent out soon, but there’s been no revised shipping estimate as of yet.
Still, with retail units already arriving, full-scale shipping could begin shortly. For now, the Baseus X1 Pro is one of the more feature-rich solar security cameras in its class, if you can get your hands on it.
