Bayraktar Akıncı UAV makes remarkable progress
During the test flight of Bayraktar Akıncı in 2022, it set a Turkish record in this field by reaching an altitude of 13,716 meters. The unmanned aerial vehicle, which is fully compatible with many indigenous ammunitions, has been used in conjunction with various national munitions such as Gökçe Guidance Kit, Gözde Guidance Kit, KGK-82-UCAV, UAV-230 Supersonic Missile, UAV-122 Supersonic Missile, Çakır Cruise Missile, MAM-L, MAM-T, MAM-C, Tolun, Teber-81, Teber-82, LGK-81, LGK-82, and HGK-82. It is expected that this list will expand further in the coming period.
The most powerful version, Akıncı C, has a massive engine power capacity of 1700 HP in total. In version B, a total of 1500 HP engine power is used, while version A stands out with 900 HP. Additionally, under the significant agreement between Baykar and the Saudi Arabian government, supplying Akıncı to this country will result in an export revenue of around $3 billion.
