Bayraktar TB3, the unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Baykar and followed with interest worldwide, successfully conducted its first test fire. In this historic mission, another unmanned aerial vehicle coded as UAV 122 took part alongside Bayraktar TB3 and successfully completed its support mission.

This first test fire conducted by Bayraktar TB3 once again demonstrated Turkey’s leadership and technological advancement in UAV technologies. Although no clear statement has yet been made regarding the type of ammunition used in the test fire, it was shared that the fire was completed with high precision and the target was successfully hit.
This development once again demonstrated that Bayraktar TB3 can operate with superior capabilities on both land and sea platforms. UAV 122 undertook a critical support mission in this test. The unmanned aerial vehicle, which works in harmony with Bayraktar TB3, took part in tasks such as target identification, data transfer and operational coordination during the test.
Baykar officials stated that this test was a turning point in Turkey’s unmanned aerial vehicle technology and that Bayraktar TB3 will be used in more comprehensive operational missions in the future. Among the technical features of TB3, long-range operation capability, high payload carrying capacity and precision target hitting capabilities stand out.
