For this reason, the House of Representatives first voted to ban the practice, and since those who voted “yes” were in the majority in this vote, the bill passed the first stage.
Subsequently, the bill went to the Senate, the other chamber of the United States Congress, after the House of Representatives. The Senate, one of the two legislative bodies along with the House of Representatives, also adopted this bill in the past hours.

The bill was presented to President Joe Biden after the final decision was made by the House of Representatives and the Senate. In the past minutes, it was announced that Biden signed it.
