Arsenal and Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus has revealed that he received a VAC ban in Counter-Strike 2. However, the player, who rebelled against Valve against this ban, stated that his 40 thousand dollars worth of items were deleted.

In a post on Twitter, Jesus said the ban was unjust. Tagging his CS2 account in the hope that the ban will be lifted, the famous soccer player said he doesn’t understand why his account was blocked.
For those who don’t know, the VAC or Valve Anti-Cheat ban works when third-party programs are detected interacting with the game. If the ban is enforced, it is not possible to access Counter-Strike 2 servers. This is usually due to the use of cheats such as aimbot or wallhack.

Gabriel Jesus claims that the VAC ban on his account is unfair. We don’t know if Jesus is actually cheating. However, some AMD graphics card updates have led to a VAC ban before. A similar situation may have happened to the 25-year-old player.
Jesus is also known to have been playing Counter-Strike for years, spending thousands of dollars on rare weapon skins. His inventory includes popular skins such as the Dragon Lore AWP and the Wild Lotus AK-47. His account is estimated to be worth 40 thousand dollars.
With the VAC ban in place, Jesus will be banned from playing on official servers or trading items from his collection. It’s not a huge loss for a soccer player making millions of dollars, but he will have lost one of his biggest hobbies.
Valve has yet to comment on the matter. However, the company is expected to review Jesus’ account and explain whether the VAC ban was a mistake.
