Pluribus, the new project from Vince Gilligan, known for creating the iconic television series “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul,” premiered on Apple TV this week and has reached the top of the streaming platform. The sci-fi series received rave reviews from both critics and viewers with its first two episodes. Pluribus’s success is a welcome relief for Apple.

Viewer ratings are at 85. Furthermore, the series’ IMDb audience rating is currently at 9. These high ratings demonstrate that Pluribus has impressed both critics and viewers. Its critical rating now ranks it first among all Apple TV series.
As expected, Pluribus has been a hit with viewers, reaching the top spot on the weekly viewing chart. With only the first two episodes currently released, the series has surpassed popular Apple TV series like Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Last Frontier. While Apple hasn’t yet released viewership figures, preliminary data from other sources suggests Pluribus has had a very impressive debut.
Pluribus’s main character is renowned author Carol Sturka. While on tour promoting her new book, Carol arrives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and finds herself caught in the middle of a strange epidemic.
A rapidly spreading virus transforms everyone in the city into happy and content individuals. But only Carol remains unaffected, remaining “normal.” Apple described the series as follows: “In this unique, genre-bending series, the unhappiest person in the world must save the world from happiness.”
