Google is counting down for the affordable Pixel 9a model. The smartphone has previously appeared in numerous reports and leaks, giving us an idea of what to expect. Recent developments have revealed pricing details for the device.
How much will the Google Pixel 9a cost?
According to reliable industry sources, the upcoming Pixel 9a will be priced at $499 for the 128 GB version and $599 for the 256 GB model in the United States. In Europe, these prices will be €559 and €659, respectively.

The live images of the Google Pixel 9a reveal a different design approach compared to its predecessors. Specifically, the rear panel will feature a pill-shaped camera setup in the upper left corner, replacing the horizontal bar seen on previous models.
The front of the device will not show any major differences. The smartphone will again feature a screen-to-body ratio above industry standards and will come with a hole-punch display design.
The Pixel 9a will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor. It will come with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage options. Its 6.2-inch OLED display will boast 2,700 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits HDR brightness.
On the camera side, the Pixel 9a will feature a 48 MP f/1.7 main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13 MP Sony IMX712 selfie camera.
The device will come with a 5,100 mAh battery supporting 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. For security, it will include the Titan M2 chip for data protection and secure boot processes. Additionally, the IP68 certification ensures water and dust resistance.
The Pixel 9a will be available for pre-order on March 19, 2025, and will be officially released on March 26, 2025. Additionally, it will come with a three-month Google One (100GB) subscription, YouTube Premium, and a six-month Fitbit Premium subscription.
