Xiaomi has added new devices to its budget-friendly lineup with the launch of the Redmi 13 4G and A3x. The new smartphones will go on sale worldwide in the coming weeks, targeting mid-range users. So what does the Redmi 13 4G and A3x promise?
Redmi A3x features and price
The Redmi A3x uses the Unisoc Tiger T603 chipset, which is lower than the Helio G36 found in the top-end Redmi A3. However, both phones come with a 6.71-inch LCD display with FHD+ 1650 x 720 resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Redmi A3x is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 10W fast charging. The memory configuration includes 3GB RAM/64GB and 4GB RAM/128GB versions with a microSD card slot supporting up to 1TB storage.
Camera-wise, the Redmi A3x packs an 8 Megapixel main camera and a 5 Megapixel front camera. Measuring 168.4 x 76.3 x 8.3 mm, the device has a headphone jack, fingerprint scanner and dual SIM support. Until 2027, it will receive two major Android updates.
Redmi 13 4G features and price
The 13 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset. Storage configurations include 6GB RAM / 128GB and 8GB RAM / 256GB versions. The camera consists of a 108 Megapixel main sensor as well as a 13 Megapixel front camera.
Besides the processor and camera, the 13 4G shares many features with its predecessor. It comes with a 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is also powered by a 5030mAh battery with IP53 dust/water resistance, fingerprint sensor and 33W fast charging.
The Redmi 13 4G, which will come out of the box with Android 14-based HyperOS, has a starting price of 199.99 euros.
