BYD, which has renewed its sedan similar to Tesla Model 3, officially shared the design today. Seal, which seems ready to leave its peers behind with both its interior and exterior structure, carries a large BYD logo on the front. Seal, which has a soft hood and headlight design similar to Porsche and Tesla, completes its aggressive appearance with its bumper design. The vehicle, which achieves a sporty appearance with sharper lines on the side, looks extremely stylish with its stop lights and huge grilles that completely cover the rear.
When we move on to the interior, we are first greeted by the 15.6-inch infotainment screen. This screen, which is located right in the middle of the panel, has a wireless charging unit at the bottom. BYD, which has placed the buttons where you can perform some controls on the gear section, has placed the cup holder just in front of the armrest.
Offering a more premium look in the interior with its tan leather upholstery, Seal completes this style with its four-spoke steering wheel. Placing another screen that provides the necessary information about the vehicle at the driver’s perspective, Seal offers a spacious living space inside with its 2920 mm wheelbase. While the overall length of the vehicle is measured as 4800 mm, the width is stated as 1875 mm and the height as 1460 mm. This shows that the vehicle is longer and taller than the Tesla Model 3, but a bit narrow.
Now let’s come to the range. According to the statements, the BYD Seal, which can travel 650 kilometers on a full charge, falls slightly behind the Model 3 with a range of 713 kilometers. However, there is a difference of almost 12 thousand dollars between the prices of the two vehicles. In other words, BYD offers a vehicle with almost the same range as the Model 3 at a more affordable price.
