Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is rolling out one of its strangest cameos yet. As part of Season 3 Reloaded, Activision is bringing Hollywood actor and cannabis icon Seth Rogen into the game as a full-on playable operator—complete with signature laughs and weed-soaked style.
Seth Rogen joins Black Ops 6 as part of High Art event
The Rogen operator is tied to the High Art event pass, which launches on May 1 and runs through May 15. Players can grab the pass in two tiers: free or premium. The free tier offers seven rewards with marijuana-inspired cosmetics, including a Casual Ops operator skin. But if you want Rogen himself, you’ll need the premium tier.
That version includes two full Rogen operator skins—Fired Up and Host Rogen—along with themed items that reference his roles in Superbad, The Interview, and other stoner classics. There’s even an emote called “Ha!”, which lets players drop Rogen’s signature giggle into matches.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 continues its 4/20 celebration streak

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has leaned into cannabis culture. April saw a steady stream of 4/20-themed drops, including the surprise addition of Jay and Silent Bob earlier in the month. That duo arrived on April 10, giving fans the chance to play as Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes—two other counterculture icons with a cult following.
Rogen’s arrival keeps the momentum going. And given his pop culture status, he fits right into the game’s chaotic, crossover-heavy roster.
A bizarre but fitting addition to Call of Duty’s roster
Over the years, Call of Duty has made room for everything from Terminator to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The addition of Seth Rogen is just the latest sign that Black Ops 6 isn’t interested in subtlety—it’s here for spectacle, memes, and as many licensed operators as it can cram into Warzone.
Whether you’re laughing, eye-rolling, or lighting one up, the Rogen drop is part of a broader trend that’s reshaping what players expect from seasonal content.
Season 3 Reloaded arrives May 1 with more surprises likely
The update launches May 1 and will include the full High Art event alongside other reloaded content. While the spotlight is clearly on Rogen, fans can expect more weapon bundles, cosmetics, and limited-time modes to hit Multiplayer and Warzone.
From zombies on planes to monkey bombs and cardboard box emotes, Black Ops 6 continues to prove one thing: in 2024’s Call of Duty, nothing is too weird.
