Reliable sources, including billbil-kun, have revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch on November 14. This date also confirms the rumor shared last month on X by TheGhostofHope.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14th, but there will be no Switch 2 version
However, according to the source, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Black Ops 7 will not be available at launch. Whether a release for the handheld console will happen later remains unknown.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches November 14, but no Switch 2 version is planned
During Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the company announced in February 2023 that it had signed a ten-year agreement with Nintendo, sparking expectations within the Call of Duty community. The deal suggested that the popular franchise would finally make its way to Nintendo consoles.
So far, no Call of Duty game has been released on Nintendo systems. Considering that Black Ops 7 will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One—and that the Switch 2 is expected to be more powerful than those consoles—the latest news is likely to disappoint handheld owners.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X in both physical and digital formats, priced at €79.99. Pre-orders are set to open on Wednesday, August 20, right after Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event.
