Activision has ended support for Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, one of its ambitious projects in the mobile gaming market. The game, which was released in March of last year, created great anticipation before its release. However, when the game could not sustain the expected interest, the company management decided to end the project.
Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is officially shutting down
Although Call of Duty Warzone Mobile reached a high number of players in its first weeks, it soon experienced a decline. In particular, the performance problems experienced caused users to move away from the game. The project, which had difficulty gaining new players over time, could not create a stable user base.

Activision announced in a recent statement that support for the game has officially ended. The game will be closed to new users on the App Store and Google Play as of May 19. Existing players will be able to continue playing the game on their phones or tablets. However, the online store is closing and new purchases with real money will not be possible.
The company did not announce a definite closing date for users still playing the game. However, the removal of the application from mobile platforms and the disabling of the purchasing system indicate that the game will be completely closed to access in the coming period.
Activision stated that Warzone Mobile was successfully implemented by the development team; however, the success achieved on desktop and console platforms could not be achieved in this project. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
