The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to surprise its fans. The highly anticipated Captain America: Brave New World, from Marvel Phase 5, seems set to break some traditional molds of the series. However, this time the change will be discussed not only in terms of the film’s story but also its runtime… Here are the details!
Captain America: Brave New World will be the shortest film in the series!
According to information released by AMC Theaters, Brave New World will only be 1 hour and 58 minutes long. This makes it the shortest film in the Captain America series to date. Previously, other films in the series such as The First Avenger (2 hours 4 minutes), The Winter Soldier (2 hours 16 minutes), and Civil War (2 hours 27 minutes) were much longer.

In Marvel films, runtimes under 2 hours are quite rare. Brave New World will be the eighth film to fall into this category. While the MCU’s shortest film title still belongs to The Marvels (1 hour 45 minutes), this new Captain America film promises a faster-paced and refined storytelling experience for viewers.
