OpenAI, a company operating in the field of artificial intelligence, has been experiencing a global access crisis since the morning hours of June 10. The problems experienced on the platform, which has millions of users, have caused some users to be unable to access the service completely, while those who can access it complain about the unusual slowness of the system and delays in responses.
ChatGPT is experiencing difficulty accessing
The outages began to show themselves around 10:00 a.m. Turkey time. Platforms such as Downdetector, which tracks service outages, confirmed that many ChatGPT users from around the world were reporting problems. Users shared their access and performance problems with the public via social media networks such as X and Reddit.

The problems were not limited to the popular chatbot. OpenAI announced on its official status page that there were also “high error rates and delays” in its API services and the artificial intelligence tool called Sora, which produces video from text. The company also published another error notification for Sora at 12:23 Turkey time.
The few users who have been able to connect to the service report that they have been waiting much longer than usual for a response from the system, and that they have often received an error message that says, “Hmm… something seems to have gone wrong.” However, the fact that some users continue to use ChatGPT without any problems suggests that the problem is not limited to the entire user base, but rather a partial outage.
OpenAI has not yet made a statement regarding the root cause of the disruption to its services. The only information from the company is that the problem has been identified and that teams are conducting an investigation. It remains unclear when the problems with ChatGPT and other OpenAI services will be fully resolved and the system will return to normal.
