While electric car moves continue to be made, electric cars suitable for different budgets are being launched. To name a few of them, we can cite cars such as Leapmotor T03, Dacia Spring, Volta EV1, etc., although we cannot count them as a complete car. But also due to the copying habit of the Chinese, the lost twin of the Dacia Spring model has emerged. Here is the Nimma Nano BOX, which can be considered the cheapest electric car in the world, and its details…
Nimma Nano BOX: A Cheaper Alternative to the Dacia Spring
The Nimma Nano BOX, which is being treated as the lost twin brother of the Dacia Spring, is actually a Chinese car model for which licensing rights have been acquired. With the exception of some changes in the front and interior design, the car looks almost exactly like the Dacia Spring, and is also very affordable. In fact, it may be the cheapest electric vehicle in the world that can actually be classified as a “car”.
Nimma, a sub-brand of the Chinese Dongfeng brand, is producing this car thanks to the license rights it acquired. The model, which is currently on sale only in the Chinese market, has a price tag of less than 10 thousand dollars.
Considering that the Dacia Spring and Leapmotor T03 models, known as the cheapest electrics, are sold at prices between 12 and 13 thousand dollars in China, the Nimma Nano BOX is really quite cheap.
In addition, the car has 30 kilometers more range than its twin brother Dacia Spring. All other features are almost the same. Nimma Nano is currently only sold in China.
