Netflix made important announcements at the Geeked Week 2024 event that will increase its claim in the gaming world. The streaming giant announced that strategy game favorite Civilization VI and fighting game classic Street Fighter IV Champion Edition will be free with Netflix Games.

Thanks to agreements with Take Two Interactive and Capcom, Netflix subscribers will soon receive the Platinum Edition of Civilization VI. In this context, they will be able to download and play the game with all expansion packs and content. Street Fighter IV Champion Edition will be available with cross-play support on iOS and Android devices.

No dates have been given for the games yet, but the addition of these two important games to the platform is quite remarkable. This shows Netflix’s growing strength in the gaming industry.
