The Coros Apex 4 has leaked ahead of its official reveal, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most significant smartwatch upgrades this year.

Compared to the Apex 2, the new Coros Apex 4 steps things up in both form and function. Leaked marketing images reveal the smartwatch will launch in two sizes, 42mm and 46 mm, with continuous GPS battery life lasting up to 65 hours, a major leap from the previous model’s 40-hour limit.
Regular-use battery life is also getting a bump, jumping to roughly 13–20 days depending on model size. Design-wise, Coros keeps its signature branding front and center but trims down the overall profile. The bezels still look chunky, though, especially for a 2025 flagship.

Performance on maps sees a major jump
One of the biggest talking points? Map performance. According to leaks, the Coros Apex 4 delivers 30x more performance while handling maps and graphics. That boost should translate to faster render times and smoother zooming or scrolling through terrain data.
Coros appears to be feeding that performance with richer map detail and faster on-device rendering without draining the battery.
