Honor has officially announced its upcoming flagship smartphone series, the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, on its Weibo account. The company stated that these series will feature “versatile flagship-level configurations,” while early leaks and official teasers have provided clear clues about what to expect. The series is expected to launch in China on November 24th.
iPhone Air-Style Camera Design and Flagship Features Coming
According to promotional images released by Honor, both models will feature an ultra-thin body, confirming previous leaks that the series will feature a sleek and lightweight design. Another poster circulating on Chinese social media platforms suggests that the series will adopt a new horizontal, racetrack-style rear camera layout. This design language is particularly striking for its similarity to the aesthetics of the iPhone Air.

The Honor 500 will feature a dual-camera setup, while the Honor 500 Pro will feature three cameras aligned horizontally. The Pro model is also expected to feature a dedicated camera button that provides quick shutter and zoom controls.
Honor engineers stated that the entire series will run on Snapdragon 8-series chipsets and offer enhanced gaming performance with the brand’s Phantom Engine 3.0 technology. Early reports indicate that the Honor 500 series will feature advanced innovations in both hardware and display technologies.
The Honor 500 series is expected to launch a fierce competition in mobile photography and performance, particularly with its massive 8,000mAh battery capacity and advanced Snapdragon chipsets.
