Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Turbo 5 series of smartphones. These will be the successors to the existing Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro, powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and will include the Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro. According to a new report from reliable leakster Smart Pikachu, the Turbo 5 models will be powered by Dimensity chipsets.
8,000mAh Battery, 100W Charging, and New Dimensity Power to be Unveiled in January 2026!
According to the leaker, the Redmi Turbo 5 series will offer a significant improvement over its predecessor, launching with a metal mid-frame and a larger display with rounded corners. The Turbo 5 models are said to use MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8 and 9 series chipsets.

The higher-end model, thought to be the Turbo 5 Pro, is rumored to feature an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is expected to be one of the largest in the brand’s history; according to the leak, it will be 8,000 mAh or more, with high-speed charging support.
Other leaks suggest the Pro model could be called the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max.
According to reports, the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro will feature a 1.5K LTPS OLED display and an 8,000 mAh to 9,000 mAh battery with 100W charging support. Both models are said to feature IP68/69-rated housings.
The Redmi Turbo 5 series is expected to be unveiled in January 2026.
