realme is counting down to the launch of its upcoming GT 8 Pro model, which it has been working on for some time. Recent leaks suggest that the device will offer flagship-level performance. The latest developments now reveal some of the model’s key technical details. Here are the details!

Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks in the tech industry, has shared new information about the upcoming realme GT 8 Pro. According to the source, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Elite 2) chipset. Additionally, it will feature a flat OLED display with 2K resolution support. For security, it will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen.

The source also reveals that the phone will include a 200 MP periscope telephoto sensor, although the resolutions of the other cameras have not yet been disclosed. Furthermore, the phone will reportedly have a metal mid-frame. It will be powered by a battery around 7,000 mAh with 100W fast charging support.
As known, the predecessor of the smartphone featured a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and offered up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and 120W fast charging. Battery capacity was 6,500 mAh for the Chinese version and 5,800 mAh for the global variant.
The GT 7 Pro came with a 16 MP front camera, while the rear setup included a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
