Sony has entered the countdown phase for its much-anticipated Xperia 1 VII, a device that, according to recent reports, is expected to offer flagship-level performance. Recent developments have now revealed live images of the product.
What will the Sony Xperia 1 VII look like?
The Sony Xperia 1 VII has appeared in the NCC database, unveiling live images of the device. From these images, we can see that the smartphone will feature a vertical triple-camera setup. Unfortunately, there are no images available of the front panel at this time.

The Xperia 1 VII will come with a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the top bezel, there will be a 12 MP selfie camera. The device will measure 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.5 mm, and with the camera bump, the thickness increases to 11 mm.
At the back, there will be a triple-camera system. This includes a 48 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12 MP periscope lens capable of optical zoom from 70-200mm. While earlier reports suggested that all sensors would come from Sony’s Exmor T series, recent information indicates this might not be entirely accurate.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offer options of 12/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. The battery capacity is expected to be at least 5,000 mAh, with 30W fast charging support.
Running on Android 15 out of the box, the Xperia 1 VII is expected to launch at a starting price of $1,399. What are your thoughts on this? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments below!
