vivo continues expanding its smartphone lineup, with plans to introduce the Y400 5G model this August. Recent leaks reveal key details about the device, hinting at strong features that could appeal to users.
vivo Y400 5G features revealed
According to a report from 91mobiles, the vivo Y400 5G will come housed in a durable case certified with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Powering the phone will be a large 6,000mAh battery, supported by fast 90W charging. This marks an upgrade compared to last month’s Y400 Pro, which features a 5,500mAh battery with the same 90W fast charge but only IP66 certification. The standard Y400 could therefore offer enhanced endurance and durability.

The phone is expected to be available in two color options: green and white. It has already appeared in several certification databases under the model number V2506, including Bluetooth SIG, BIS, and Google Play Console listings.
The Google Play Console confirms the Y400 5G will sport a curved display with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and running Android 15. Other technical specifications have yet to be revealed.
