The countdown has officially begun for the Xiaomi 13T series. New leaks are emerging day by day the series, leaving very few doubts about the kind of performance it will offer. Most recently, the series crossed another threshold, indicating that the launch is very close.
Xiaomi 13T specs
The upcoming Xiaomi 13T series was recently spotted in the TDRA database with model numbers 2306EPN60G and 23078PND5G. Although this doesn’t reveal any specific technical features of the devices, it does suggest that the global launch is imminent.
A recent report unveiled key technical specifications of the series. According to this report, the 13T Pro will feature a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. It’s worth noting that the same lens was used in the Redmi K60 Ultra.
The rear camera setup of the 13T Pro will include a 50-megapixel primary camera with the Sony IMX707 sensor. In contrast, the K60 Ultra features a Sony IMX800 50-megapixel primary sensor. Lastly, the 13T Pro will come with an OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera and an OV50D 50-megapixel telephoto camera, replacing the 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors found in the Redmi flagship.
As mentioned earlier, the Pro model will resemble the recently introduced Redmi K60 Ultra. It will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1.5k resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus processor. Additionally, it will offer 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The battery will be a 5000mAh unit with support for 120W fast charging.
The standard model in the series won’t lag far behind the Pro model in terms of user experience. Allegedly, the processor, screen, and battery won’t change. However, the charging speed will drop to 67W. Furthermore, it will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage instead of the 12GB RAM and 512GB variant. Lastly, it’s rumored that the smartphones will be unveiled on September 1st.
