Nothing, founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei in 2020, officially entered the smartphone market last year with the Nothing Phone (1). The device received positive feedback from users and achieved significant sales figures. Work has now begun on the successor model. Recently, technical specifications and pricing details for the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) were shared.
What will the Nothing Phone (2) features and price be like?
Through a media outlet in France, two different storage options and prices for the Nothing Phone (2) were revealed. The first option is expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, priced at 729 euros. This represents an approximately twofold increase compared to its predecessor, which had a starting price of 469 euros. The more powerful version, with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, will be priced at 849 euros.
According to rumors, the significant increase in the prices of the Nothing Phone (2) is attributed to the device being equipped with technical specifications that cannot be compared to the previous model. The smartphone will feature a 120 Hz FHD+ resolution AMOLED panel. Additionally, the chosen security method is an under-display fingerprint reader.
