Honor has been working on the GT 2 for quite some time. The new series, which will include the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro models, is expected to launch in November or December of this year. It is stated that the series will be one of the first phones to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which will be announced next month alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
A new report has revealed some important details about the main specifications of the standard model, the GT 2.
Honor GT 2 specifications revealed
The Honor GT 2 will feature a large 8,800mAh battery. As is well known, the original Honor GT came with a 7,200mAh battery with 100W charging support. Earlier this year, the brand also introduced the Honor Power with an 8,000mAh battery and the Honor X70 with an 8,300mAh battery in China. In short, the Chinese company has taken a significant step forward in the battery sector.

The Honor GT 2 will also support 100W charging and feature options for up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The device will feature a 6.7-inch flat OLED LTPS panel supporting 1.5K resolution. The phone will also feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a metal midframe. The other model in the series, the GT 2 Pro, is reportedly powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. However, other specifications for this model have not yet been announced.
