Xiaomi is preparing to launch its Pad 8 series tablets later this month. The tablets will be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 17 series smartphones, but an exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet. Expected Specifications for the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro

The tablet is expected to feature an 11.2-inch LCD display and a large battery with 67W fast charging support. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. On the software front, it will run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface.

A new Xiaomi device, model number 25091RP04C, appeared on Geekbench last week, scoring 2831 in the single-core and 9260 in the multi-core. The listing also indicates that the device will come with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. This device is believed to be the upcoming Pad 8 Pro.

Xiaomi is designing its tablet to function more like a laptop. Tools like a new split-screen layout, a PC-level browser, and support for productivity apps like WPS, CAJ, and CAD are being added. The company is also preparing accessories like a keyboard and a new stylus to expand productivity use cases.
