Xiaomi 16 Pro comes with a larger display with thinner bezels

According to the leaked information, the model in question will have a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display. It is stated that the phone will adopt a flat screen design and come with ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels. In addition, the screen, which will offer 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, will take the visual experience to the next level.

LIPO technology, defined as Xiaomi’s next generation screen technology, will also be used in this model. In this way, it is rumoured that Xiaomi 16 Pro can even surpass iPhone 16 Pro in terms of frame control.

While Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro model is estimated to have side bezels of 1.44 mm and top and bottom bezels of 1.41 mm, Xiaomi 16 Pro is claimed to come with thinner bezels. Considering that the Chinese brand offers the same screen sizes in previous Pro and Ultra models, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra model is likely to come with a 6.85-inch screen.

On the other hand, Xiaomi 16 Pro is rumoured to come with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. While the phone is expected to be introduced in October 2024, the higher-end Xiaomi 16 Ultra model is claimed to be released in the first half of 2026.
