Honor is actively working to expand its product lineup. As part of this effort, the Chinese manufacturer plans to launch a new smartphone equipped with a massive 10,000 mAh battery. Recent updates have revealed key details about the device’s processor.
Which processor will power Honor’s 10,000 mAh battery phone?
According to trusted industry insider Digital Chat Station, Honor’s upcoming 10,000 mAh battery phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. Although the official marketing name of the model hasn’t been announced yet, the device is reported to be in development.

The Dimensity 8500 chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process technology. Its CPU architecture won’t differ significantly from last year’s Dimensity 8400, but it features a Mali-G720 GPU, promising a superior gaming experience.
The Redmi Turbo 5 will be the first phone to launch with the Dimensity 8500 chipset. Other devices using the same chipset include the Realme Neo 8 SE and iQOO Z11 Turbo.
This suggests that Honor’s large-battery phone with the Dimensity 8500 processor may be unveiled in China either right after the Redmi Turbo 5’s December launch or in January 2026. For now, the only confirmed specs are the chipset and battery capacity.
