NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti, the mid-range graphics cards we’ve been following closely, could launch as early as March. According to a reliable leak source on Twitter called Wxnod, the information comes from an internal presentation by Taiwanese hardware manufacturer Chaintech.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti may be introduced in March
NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series launch cadence is moving pretty fast. The company plans to introduce the flagship RTX 5090 and 5080 models in January, and RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti models in February. In March, it will be the turn of RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti models, which are of great importance for mid-segment gamers.

The RTX 5060 series is said to be developed on a PCB codenamed “PG512” and will use the GB206 GPU. The cards will come with a 128-bit memory bus and will be supported by GDDR7 memory. This will allow memory bandwidth to reach up to 28 Gbps.
Both cards are expected to have 8 GB of VRAM, while a 16 GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti is also rumored to be available. However, there is no clear information about the number of CUDA cores and clock speeds yet. According to media reports, the RTX 5060 series aims to deliver high performance, especially at 1080p resolution, and is thought to be competitive at 1440p resolution thanks to DLSS 4 AI-assisted frame generation technology.
However, only 8 GB of VRAM may lead to performance limitations in some games. We expect the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti models to be in much higher demand than higher-end cards like the RTX 5090. It remains to be seen whether NVIDIA will be able to provide enough stock to meet this demand. It remains to be seen how NVIDIA’s new mid-range graphics cards will compete with AMD’s RDNA 4-based RX 7000 series. The answer to this question will become clear at the official launch in March.
