Developed by Bend Studio, Days Gone is finally coming to PlayStation 5 with its remastered version. The new version, announced as part of State of Play, will be optimized for PS5 and PS5 Pro, including VRR support.
Days Gone Remastered will be released on April 25
Survival expert Deacon St. John’s journey will intensify even more in the PS5 version. Accordingly, players looking for more challenge will be offered a permadeath mode, and those who are successful in efficiency will be offered a speedrun mode.
Photography enthusiasts will be able to enjoy improved graphic quality with the new photo mode. In addition, the game’s reach will be expanded with accessibility options. Beyond these additions, Days Gone Remastered will have a Horde Assault mode that pits players against much larger hordes than seen in the first game.
The Remastered version will be released on April 25, 2025. Users who own the PS4 version will be able to access the PS5 version at a discounted price of $10.
He also said that one of the biggest problems his team faced was that they had to give up on artificial intelligence in order to preserve the atmosphere. He added that the game was designed to be able to shoot only the parts that the character could see during the design period, but they had to abandon this idea.
PlayStation 5 Pro supported productions include Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7 and a few more games.
