Performance Exceeds $5.4 Billion in the First Eight Months of the Year
According to data released by President Görgün, the sector’s growth momentum continues throughout the year. The $5.418 billion in export revenue achieved between January and August demonstrates that Turkey is making firm progress toward its goal of increasing its share of the high-technology product market. It was emphasized that international collaborations and high-value-added domestic and national products are the driving force behind this success.

Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün stated that these impressive figures are no coincidence, saying, “As the Presidency of Defense Industries, we are working tirelessly to ensure the sustainability of exports. Together, we will further advance this chain of success, extending from our prime contractors to our SMEs.”
Görgün stated that the sector is working tirelessly day and night to achieve the export targets set by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and will continue to achieve new successes. He concluded his statement by expressing his gratitude to all the companies, engineers, technicians, and presidential staff who contributed to this success.
