Dell G16 design
Instead of the 15.6-inch 16:9 panel that Dell uses in its traditional models, Dell came up with a 16-inch 16:10 aspect ratio model this time. This panel is a QHD Plus screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 with a refresh rate of 165Hz, just like the gaming PCs we have seen before from different brands.
More pixels, of course, will not bother anyone. Compared to the G15 model, the subframe is smaller in this model. As a result, it has 11 percent more screen area than the G15.
You also have three options when it comes to G16’s typing experience. By default, the laptop comes with a one-zone RGB keyboard. You can upgrade to a model with per-key lighting, with the option to add CherryMX switches as well. We have to say that the trackpad is relatively small for this computer.
This PC is separate from the new Alienware laptops with an optional 480Hz display. But the new 16:10 display we have seen could bode well for sweeping changes to the Alienware gaming laptop lineup in 2022.
