Dimensity 9500 processor draws attention with performance!
The performance test results of MediaTek’s new flagship mobile processor Dimensity 9500 have been leaked. The chipset, whose Geekbench 6 results were shared ahead of the upcoming launch, offers a significant performance increase compared to its predecessor Dimensity 9400, while also appearing to be a direct competitor to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor.
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 on the agenda with its performance
According to Geekbench results shared by Digital Chat Station, Dimensity 9500 scored over 3,900 in the single-core test and over 11,000 in the multi-core test. These scores indicate a significant increase compared to the scores of the previous model Dimensity 9400, which were 2,900+ and 9,200+, respectively. It is also stated that the new chip offers the same level of performance as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.

The chipset draws attention not only with its processing power but also with its graphics performance. The Dimensity 9500 comes with a new generation Immortalis Drage GPU that offers advanced ray tracing while consuming less power. According to a previously leaked AnTuTu report, this processor managed to score over 4 million points.
The production of the Dimensity 9500 is carried out with TSMC’s third generation 3nm (N3P) process. The processor has an 8-core structure: 1 Travis, 3 Alto and 4 Gelas cores. While the Travis and Alto cores are based on Arm’s new generation Cortex-X9 series, the Gelas cores are said to be based on Arm’s A7 series.
The chipset is equipped with 16 MB L3 cache and 10 MB system-level cache for data transfer and higher response time throughout the system. On the memory side, there is 4-channel LPDDR5x RAM support running at 10.667 Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage support connected via a 4-channel interface.
These details show that the device is positioned in the upper segment not only in processing power but also in read/write and data processing performance. Dimensity 9500 is expected to be used first in vivo’s X300 series, which is planned to be introduced in September.
