Disney+ has released a new promotional video for the series it will release in the second half of 2025. The video features new footage from the series slated to premiere on the platform before the end of the year. Having already premiered series like Daredevil: Born Again, Andor, and Ironheart in the first half of the year, the platform is preparing to offer a wide range of content for the rest of the year.
Disney+ to Launch New Content
Among the series returning with new seasons are Only Murders in the Building and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Percy Jackson generated widespread interest in its first season and quickly became popular among younger audiences. The new season will continue the mythological adventures where they left off.
One of the most notable features in the promotional video is Marvel’s new series, Wonder Man. The series, scheduled to premiere in December, tells the story of a Hollywood star with superpowers. The character’s preoccupation with fame rather than superheroics offers a different perspective on classic Marvel narratives. The production, which also incorporates comedic elements, aims to offer a unique narrative style within the Marvel universe.
Another new production that Disney+ will release at the end of the year, Alien: Earth, is considered a prominent example of the science fiction and thriller genres. Produced and created by Noah Hawley, known for his work on Fargo and Legion, the series brings the Alien universe to Earth for the first time.
The story takes place in 2120, just before the events of the first Alien film in cinematic history. The story, which unfolds through the adventures of a group of soldiers and a young woman sent to investigate a mysterious ship that crashed on Earth, aims to adapt the classic Alien atmosphere to the television screen.
With these new productions, Disney+ continues its original content strategy and continues to appeal to diverse audiences with Marvel and science fiction titles. Alien: Earth and Wonder Man are expected to be released by the end of the year.
