DJI Neo 2 is about to spread its wings. The compact drone has been teased for weeks, but new leaks have revealed not only its global launch date but also updated pricing for multiple regions.
DJI Neo 2 global release coming two weeks after China

Despite DJI’s October 30 event, international buyers will need to wait a bit longer. According to known leaker billbil-kun, the global launch of DJI Neo 2 won’t happen until November 13. The October event still matters; it’s just China-first.
The delay isn’t long, but it confirms earlier confusion around whether October 30 was a worldwide launch. It’s not.
A modest price bump for the DJI Neo 2
The new drone won’t be priced quite like the original. Instead, expect about a $40/€40 increase across regions. For the basic Fly Solo bundle, which includes the drone and a single Intelligent Flight battery, prices are expected to be:
- US: $259
- UK: £209
- EU: €239
That still keeps it firmly in entry-level territory, especially for DJI.
Fly More Combo offers better gear for a higher tag
Those who want more flight time and accessories will have two expanded options:
- Fly More Combo: Adds three batteries, a Motion 3 controller, and a Goggles N3 adapter
- Motion Fly More Combo: Everything above, plus motion control accessories
Expected pricing:
- Fly More Combo: $429 (US), €399 (EU), £349 (UK)
- Motion Combo: $599 (US), €579 (EU), £509 (UK)
DJI’s strategy keeps entry-level pilots hooked
This isn’t a massive reinvention of the drone lineup, but it doesn’t have to be. DJI seems to be refining the formula that worked last year, with bundle flexibility and modest upgrades.
A quiet countdown to November skies
The clock’s ticking, but DJI isn’t rushing the rollout. Instead, it’s letting anticipation build, especially for markets outside China. Whether the Neo 2 can hold attention longer than its shadowy launch remains to be seen.
But in two weeks, we’ll find out if the upgrade soars or stalls.
