Elon Musk bought Twitter by spending $44 billion. This way, he can do whatever he wants without being accountable to shareholders and the board. Allegedly, Mavi Tick (verified account) owners will make monthly payments.
Elon Musk might take $19.99 per month from Twitter’s verified accounts!
Elon Musk wants to make a clean start after the Twitter acquisition process. Maybe that’s why he entered the headquarters with the sink in his hand. His first job was to fire the executives one by one. But he was also exposed to some unexpected attacks.
He made a number of decisions, from the company’s advertising policies to the accounts they have blocked from accessing the platform. Even so that he even responded to criticism about the length of the videos directed at him on Twitter. So right now we see that he’s devoting all his time to his new toy.
In fact, some of Musk’s competitors from the automotive industry closed their Twitter accounts, while others announced that they were withdrawing previously agreed advertisements. But we still see that Musk has dozens of ideas to make money in his mind.
It was claimed that he wanted to improve the Twitter Blue subscription service, and he wanted to do this through Mavi Tick, that is, verified account holders. Because in this scenario, all approved accounts must pay $4.99 per month.
But according to a much stronger claim that emerged tonight, Musk’s plan is to bill verified accounts separately as excluding them from Twitter Blue. The aforementioned amount is $19.99 per month.
