Epic Games, the world’s most popular gaming company, has been hit by a massive cyber attack. A ransomware group announced that it had compromised nearly 200 GB of data, including email, passwords, full name, payment information, source code and many other data.
Mogilevich put Epic Games data up for sale
Mogilevich, a cyber gang that has been plaguing gaming companies lately, carried out a major attack on Epic Games. The compromised data contains important details for the company, including users’ sensitive information.
Mogilevich made the following statements in his statement;
“We quietly carried out an attack on Epic Games’ servers. We have 189 gigabytes of data, including email, passwords, full name, payment information, source code and many other data.”
The Mogilevich gang offered the data for sale. “If you are an employee of the company or someone who wants to buy the data, click here,” the last day to buy the data was announced as March 4. No details were given about the price.
