Chery unveiled its new hybrid sedan model Fulwin A9 as its 15 millionth vehicle rolled off the line.Developed on Chery’s new E0X modular platform with a 3-meter wheelbase, Fulwin A9 combines performance and efficiency.
What does Chery Fulwin A9 promise?
It is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng super hybrid system. This system consists of a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 105 kW and a 150 kW electric motor. The plug-in hybrid combination allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
The Fulwin A9 offers a range of up to 200 km on electricity alone. With fuel tank and battery packs, the total range is up to 1400 km. The all-wheel drive system promises a controlled driving experience in challenging conditions.
LED headlights and taillights complement the car’s modern design. Chrome details and a concealed exhaust add a premium look. The spacious interior of the Fulwin A9 is equipped with luxury materials and comfortable seats. It also features advanced driving assistance systems such as autonomous parking and highway driving assist.
A 15.6-inch central display and digital instrument cluster form the heart of the infotainment system. There are 10 airbags, a head-up display, a segmented panoramic sunroof and a 23-speaker sound system.
The starting price of the vehicle is around 35 thousand dollars. The company has a goal to increase up to 25 models in the coming year.
