First of all, the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with the powerful A18 chip of the iPhone 16 series. So, it will make a serious leap in terms of performance. Compared to the A15 chip used in the 2022 model SE, the device will offer a much faster and smoother experience with the A18. Moreover, the new model will have the 6.1-inch notched screen design we see on the iPhone 14, abandoning the physical home button.

There are also serious improvements on the camera side. The 48 MP main camera sensor from the iPhone 15 will be included in the SE 4. This camera will offer advanced features such as 2x optical zoom. The front camera will use the 12 MP selfie camera from the iPhone 15.

One of the most striking innovations is that Apple will use its own 5G modem for the first time in this model. Developed under the code name Centauri, this modem is considered as Apple’s big step towards becoming an independent modem manufacturer.
