Toyota has officially introduced the facelifted Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid to the Turkish automotive market, marking a significant update to its popular B-SUV model. Now available in showrooms across the country, the refreshed vehicle enters the market with a starting price of 2,388,000 TL. This update brings a refined exterior design, a modernized digital cockpit, and enhanced safety features to the compact SUV lineup. As one of the few vehicles in its segment to offer a full hybrid system, the new Yaris Cross aims to maintain its competitive edge by balancing urban efficiency with contemporary technological advancements and improved interior comfort for drivers and passengers alike.
- The facelifted model is available in Turkey with starting prices beginning at 2,388,000 TL.
- The vehicle features a 1.5-liter full hybrid engine that delivers a total of 130 horsepower.
- Toyota has upgraded the interior with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.5-inch infotainment display.
- The safety suite has been expanded through the integration of the comprehensive T-Mate system.
The Exterior Design Receives Updates
The latest iteration of the Yaris Cross showcases a more cohesive front fascia, highlighted by a body-colored honeycomb grille that replaces the previous design. Toyota has also redesigned the headlight clusters, integrating both turn signals and daytime running lights to create a cleaner and more streamlined appearance.
Refinements extend to the side profile, where newly designed alloy wheels provide a sharper visual appeal. To offer more customization, the manufacturer has expanded the color palette by introducing Aura Bronze and Glacier Metallic Gray options, while continuing to support popular dual-tone body configurations.
The Cabin Features Advanced Digital Technology
Inside the vehicle, the most prominent enhancement is the transition to a fully digital cockpit. Drivers now interact with a customizable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, while a 10.5-inch central multimedia screen manages connectivity. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with sophisticated voice command capabilities.
Depending on the chosen trim level, occupants benefit from premium features such as wireless smartphone charging, a panoramic glass roof, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Utility remains a priority, as the vehicle offers a 397-liter cargo area with rear seats that fold in a 40:20:40 split, complemented by a convenient power-operated tailgate with foot-sensor activation.
Safety Systems Are Expanded Through T-Mate
Toyota has bolstered the security of the vehicle by equipping it with the T-Mate package. This suite includes advanced driver assistance features such as an enhanced pre-collision system, intelligent adaptive cruise control, and lane-tracing assist. Furthermore, the model incorporates a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, and a safe-exit assist system to protect occupants in busy urban environments. An emergency stop system that engages if the driver remains unresponsive, paired with a rear-seat reminder, further elevates the safety standards of the SUV.
The Hybrid Powertrain Delivers Efficiency
The vehicle utilizes a 1.5-liter full hybrid powertrain capable of generating 130 horsepower, which is directed to the front wheels via an e-CVT transmission. Performance metrics indicate a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 10.7 seconds.
Regarding environmental impact, the model achieves a WLTP combined fuel consumption rating between 4.6 and 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers, with CO2 emissions measured at 105-106 g/km. In specific low-speed urban conditions, the vehicle can operate in electric-only mode at speeds up to 50 km/h, depending on driving habits and battery status.
Pricing Structures Are Adjusted for Consumers
The facelifted Yaris Cross is offered in three distinct trim levels in the Turkish market. While list prices for the Flame, Flame X-Pack, and Passion X-Pack versions are set at 2,868,000 TL, 3,400,000 TL, and 3,637,000 TL respectively, the company is currently applying significant discounts. These adjustments reduce the entry-level price to 2,388,000 TL, with total savings ranging from 480,000 TL to 542,000 TL per model.
Given the current competitive landscape of the B-SUV segment in Turkey, we are curious about your thoughts on these updates; do you believe the new technology and design features justify the price, or are you waiting for more aggressive market campaigns?
