Huawei is reportedly working on the Nova 12 series despite the shadows of US sanctions. According to recent leaks by the well-known industry insider Moor Sky, key features of the upcoming Nova 12 series have been revealed.
What will the Huawei Nova 12 series offer?
The standard model of the series is expected to feature a second-generation curved Kunlun glass with a 120Hz refresh rate. This glass, developed over a four-year period, undergoes 108 different procedures, including a 24-hour crystal growth process and melting at 1600 degrees Celsius, making it significantly more durable than standard glasses.
The Kirin 830 processor is anticipated to power the phone, with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens. Additionally, a 60-megapixel selfie camera is expected on the front. The device will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery that supports charging at 88W.
As for the Huawei Nova 12 Pro, it will likely come with similar screen specifications to the standard model. The device is expected to be powered by the Kirin 9000S chipset, featuring a triple camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel main lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens. On the front, a 60-megapixel selfie camera is expected. The Nova 12 Pro will be equipped with a 4,900mAh battery capable of 100W fast charging. The smartphones, anticipated to support 5G, are expected to be unveiled in October or November.
