Ferrari’s latest gift to the automotive world, the brand-new ultra-GT model 12 Cilindri, is powered by a thunderous 9,500 rpm V12 engine. This massive 6.5-liter engine delivers pure performance without any turbo or hybrid assistance. Here are the details…
Ferrari has introduced its most powerful internal combustion engine car to date! The 820-horsepower 12 Cilindri
Especially with titanium connecting rods and forged pistons, this engine, further enhanced, can produce 820 horsepower and delivers a maximum of 500 lb-ft of torque at 7,250 rpm. This potent engine can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reach 200 km/h in only 7.8 seconds, and achieve a top speed of over 350 km/h.
Ferrari’s new beast is showcased under a massive ‘cofango’ hood, mounted well behind the front axle, especially designed to dramatically showcase the engine compartment compared to the 812 Superfast and F12 models.
But this car not only stands out for its speed but also for its design. The dark ‘mask’ stripe at the front recalls the iconic front design of the 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’ and is only available in black. Active aerodynamic features are also among the remarkable aspects of this car. The rear aero devices active between 60 km/h and 300 km/h apply an additional 50 kg of pressure to the rear axle, providing a more stable driving experience.
Ferrari engineers assure that this car will enchant not only with its performance but also with its sound; however, more sound insulation is applied inward to deliver rich V12 melodies into the driver’s cabin.
Before additional features, the price of the 12 Cilindri starts at 395,000 Euros for the coupe. If you’re willing to pay a little more, you can have a folding hardtop Spider model for 435,000 Euros. Ferrari’s new ultra-GT seems to continue to excite car enthusiasts by offering both performance and luxury combined.
