Renowned producer Naoki Yoshida has officially come up with Final Fantasy XIV Mobile, a version of the popular RPG game for Android and iOS devices. Developed by Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios team responsible forPUBG Mobile, the game was announced for mobile devices.

The popular MMORPG game Final Fantasy XIV was released in 2013. The popular game has so far stood out as one of the most popular MMORPGs in the world. Now, the mobile version of the acclaimed game is finally approaching.
In the announcement video, Yoshida emphasises that Lightspeed Studios has worked with tremendous enthusiasm and excitement to faithfully recreate the story, classes, combat content and other aspects of the game.
According to the announced details, the game will start with 9 main classes. Other classes are expected to be added to the game over time. So far, Square Enix has not clarified which content from the original game will be included in the mobile version.
According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will have a free-to-play system and will not include gacha mechanics. The game will also see the return of 8-player battles and characters from the first arc.
The Tencent team will start the test phase of the game very soon. We will have more details about the game with the test phase that will start with gamers in China.
