Fisker unveiled 4 new electric car models during the Product Vision Day 2023 event. With these electric models spanning different segments, Fisker appears to be targeting Tesla. Here are the details on Fisker Ronin, Pear, Alaska, and Force E models.
Fisker introduced 4 new electric car models
The most eye-catching model during the presentation was undoubtedly Fisker Ronin. Touted as the world’s first four-door convertible car, the Ronin stands out with its removable carbon fiber roof. Expected to compete with the Tesla Roadster, this new car is set to be released by the end of 2025.
Fisker’s electric sports car stands out with a range of up to 1,000 kilometers. It will be equipped with three electric motors and offer all-wheel drive. With over 1,000 horsepower and torque generated by these three motors, the electric car will reach 100 km/h in just 2 seconds.
Another highlight at the event was Fisker’s affordable model, Pear. It is expected to offer a range of approximately 500 kilometers and be priced at around $29,000. With incentives, the company mentioned that the price could drop to around $22,000. The release of Fisker’s affordable electric car is expected in the middle of 2025.
Furthermore, Fisker is set to enter the growing electric pickup truck market with its Alaska model. Going up against models like Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, Hummer EV, and Chevrolet Silverado, the Fisker Alaska stands out with its lightweight construction.
With the goal of being the world’s lightest pickup truck, the Fisker Alaska will offer a maximum range of 700 kilometers according to WLPT cycle. The model, expected to be released in 2024, will have a price tag of $45,400. The company believes this figure could drop to $38,000 with incentives in the USA.
Lastly, the electric car manufacturer showcased an add-on package for the existing Ocean model, called Force E. With its 33-inch thick off-road tires, 21-inch aluminum aero wheels, and extra-wide fenders, Force E looks like a complete off-road vehicle for those interested in owning the Ocean model.
The Force E package, with its higher ground clearance, bumper protectors, and special shocks, truly embodies the off-road spirit. It will be available from the first quarter of 2024, and existing Ocean customers will also have the option to purchase this package.
Fisker’s introduction of these four new electric cars suggests that the company will gain significant attention in the coming years. What are your thoughts on Fisker Ronin and the other models? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
