OnePlus received positive feedback with the launch of the OnePlus 13 in China on October 31st. Now, the company is gearing up for the OnePlus 13R. While not much has been revealed about the smartphone so far, things are starting to change. The model has recently reached an important milestone.
OnePlus 13R Gets Certified by NBTC, SGS Fimko, and GCF
The upcoming OnePlus 13R has appeared in the databases of NBTC, SGS Fimko, and GCF under the model numbers CPH2645, CPH2647, and SPH2647. Although these certifications do not reveal specific features, they indicate that the launch is imminent.
Given the company’s past patterns, it’s expected that the OnePlus 13R will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The 4nm-based chipset features 1x 3.39 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 2x 2.9 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 3x 3.1 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, and 2x 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores, along with the Adreno GPU.
As for the OnePlus 12R, it was launched in January 2024, so the OnePlus 13R is expected to follow a similar launch timeline, with a release expected in January or February 2025.
