The Chinese brand is preparing to launch the Redmi K80 Ultra, which has been the subject of speculation for quite some time. Recent developments have revealed new details about the highly anticipated device.
Redmi K80 Ultra Will Feature Redmi’s Largest Battery
Reliable industry sources have shared new details about the Redmi K80 Ultra. According to the reports, the smartphone will feature the largest battery ever in a Redmi device. While no specific details have been shared yet, the device is expected to house a battery larger than 7,000 mAh.
The model will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. While not much is known about the new chip, it is believed to be an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9400. Additionally, the device will offer configurations with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.
Digital Chat Station, a prominent leaker in the industry, has unveiled the features of the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra. The device will boast a glass body with a metal middle frame. It will also include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and will feature a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution support.
With these features, the Redmi K80 Ultra is expected to compete fiercely with budget-friendly flagship models from brands such as iQOO, OnePlus, Realme, and Honor. While the official launch date remains unknown, considering its predecessor, the K70 Ultra, was released in July, it’s likely to follow a similar timeline.
