Xiaomi, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, is eagerly anticipated to release the Xiaomi 14 series in the coming months. Numerous rumors and leaks have surfaced about these devices, leaving little doubt about the kind of user experience they will offer. A recent report suggests that there will be a design innovation in these phones that will also be present in the iPhone 15 family.
Titanium frames will be used in the Xiaomi 14 series
DigitalChatStation, known for leaking information in the industry, mentioned that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series will feature a titanium alloy frame. It’s worth noting that this material will also be used in the iPhone 15 series set to be unveiled on September 12th. This move would make Xiaomi the first Android phone manufacturer to follow in Apple’s footsteps by adopting titanium.
The Xiaomi 14 series will be unveiled at an event in China on November 11th, with a subsequent global release, although the specific date for the global event is currently unknown.
Powering these smartphones will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is scheduled for launch in October 2023. The new processor will be introduced at Qualcomm’s annual Snapdragon Summit, which is planned to take place in Maui, Hawaii, from October 24th to 26th.
The Xiaomi 14 models will feature a 50-megapixel main camera. The standard model is expected to have a 4860 mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds, while the Pro model will come with a 5000 mAh battery capable of 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
