The latest trailer for Football Manager 26 has revealed numerous new details about the eagerly anticipated new management game, hinting at an enhanced football experience for players.

The game, claimed to boast the most comprehensive features to date, was developed using the Unity engine and will bring over three hundred new animations, different camera angles, new cutscenes, a more advanced lighting system, and more realistic textures on the pitch.

This new version will feature women’s football for the first time in the series, and movement in the game will feel much more fluid and natural than before. Thanks to new ball control animations, the game gains a deeper and more realistic dimension in all areas, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and goal celebrations; this naturalness will apply to both men’s and women’s football.

To achieve this realism, the development team used motion capture technology to digitally capture real-life movements. However, the improvements aren’t limited to visual improvements; a significant portion of the match system has also been rewritten.

For example, attackers will now be able to make more accurate decisions about when to take action against their opponents. New camera angles will allow players to follow the match more closely, giving them the feeling of living on the pitch, regardless of the team they manage.

Football Manager 26 is poised to make a significant leap forward in terms of audio, bringing not only visual quality but also sound effects to the atmosphere of a real football stadium. In addition to this critical innovation, a replay system has been added to the game, which changes based on the angle of the ball’s impact after a goal.

This will give players the opportunity to rewatch every goal from the best possible perspective. Football Manager 26 will be available for both Xbox and PS5 on November 4, 2025, the same day as special editions for Android and iOS.
