Forza Horizon 5 Back to the 90s
Players can look forward to 4 new cars from the 90s being added to the game. This includes the 1997 Toyota Soarer 2.5 GT-T, 1998 Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R, 1990 Aston Martin Lagonda, and an unannounced fourth car. These cars can be earned by completing events and challenges during the seasonal Series playlist from October 10-November 7.
Horizon Backstage, a popular feature from previous Forza Horizon games, is also making its return. It will allow players to earn previously “locked” reward cars by spending a new Backstage Pass currency. 6 initial cars will be up for grabs at launch, with more being added weekly via community votes.
Other additions include a new 90s-themed outfit to earn during the first week, imitation VHS tape collectibles to destroy later in the Series, and 10 new Hide and Seek mode achievements worth a total of 130 Gamerscore. Players can also expect 90s-themed event types, races, challenges and badges.
With this sizable free update bringing both new content and throwback features, Forza Horizon 5 players both old and new have plenty to look forward to when the “Back to the 90s” Series 39 update drops on October 8. It promises to deliver an authentic taste of 90s car culture to ramp up excitement ahead of the new in-game series.
